A library to start from
More than 60 formations and 70 concepts, from Four Verticals, Mesh and Smash to Inside Zone, Power, Counter, screens and RPOs. Concepts are written by role, so they work from any formation.
Defenses that align to you
10 fronts and 7 coverages line up on your formation. Drag a defender to match your opponent and his technique, the gaps and your blocking re-resolve.
Watch it run
Animate motion, the snap and the play. Zone defenders drop to their landmarks, man defenders trail, and passes are thrown to where the receiver will be.
From playbook to game plan to players.
Save plays to your playbook, clone them into the week’s game plan under your opponent’s saved looks, print one or two plays per page, and send players a read-only link they can study on their phones.

How it works
Set up before Friday.
- Request free access and open Play Designer from the menu.
- Pick a formation and a concept. Adjust routes, motion and reads.
- In the Defense tab, pick a front and coverage, then drag defenders to match your opponent.
- Press Play to watch it, then save it to your playbook.
- Clone plays into a game plan and share a link with your players.

Frequently asked.
Can I use my own terminology?
Yes. Add your own names on top of the base library (call Shotgun Trips Right “Trey Rt”) and pick your team’s hole-numbering convention in Settings. Every play relabels to match.
Can players see plays without an account?
Yes. Coaches can create a read-only share link for a plan or a single play, with playback. Links expire and can be revoked, and shared pages are hidden from search engines.
Does it do flag football?
Yes. The designer has flag formats from 5v5 to 8v8, with field size and rush distance you can set for your league.
Is the play designer an add-on?
No. It’s included free with every team account, with the rest of Hashmarks.
