How it works
Set up before Friday.
- Request free access and add your season. Invite your staff from the Team page.
- Add your playbook (optional) so formation and play names autocomplete.
- Open the game and choose Go Live. Set the opening ball spot and hash.
- Log each play: formation, play type, result and gain, or say it.
- Share a collector link with a volunteer, or have other staff open the same game.

Frequently asked.
Is the play tracker really free?
Yes. Hashmarks is free for every program, from Pop Warner to college. No credit card and no trial clock. The only limit on the free plan is uploaded game film storage.
Do I need an iPad?
No. The tracker is built for a phone held in one hand. A tablet or laptop works too.
What happens if the stadium has no signal?
Keep charting. Plays you log offline are stored on the device and sync in order when the connection comes back. Voice entry needs a connection, so tap to enter plays while you’re offline.
Can a parent or volunteer help without an account?
Yes. A coach can create a collector link for one game. It opens a charting page on the helper’s phone, expires after 48 hours by default and can be revoked any time.
Does it work for flag football?
Yes. Set the game to flag and the tracker switches to a flag form: QB, run or pass, target, result and who pulled the flag.
